Rules
of the LPSCA Ladder Competition
- Any player
beating a player above him/her, takes their ladder position - the players
in between all move down one ladder position. So if Jenny at 10 beats
John at 6, Jenny moves to position 6, John moves to position 7 and the
players that were in positions 7, 8 and 9; move down to positions 8,
9 and 10 respectively.
- If a player
beats a player below him, there are no moves of position.
- If a game
is drawn, there are no moves of position.
- Two players
are not allowed to play each other twice in the same day.
- The player
with the lowest ladder position can choose which colour they play.
- If a player
fails to show for a session in the ladder competition, s/he will automatically
be moved down by two ladder positions at the end of that session.
- In the
event of a dispute, the decision of an LPSCA committee member is final.
